Dr. Gina Elrod is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry Class of 2001. Dr. Gina Elrod received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She practiced dentistry in Indiana until moving to Arizona in 2010 with her husband Ryan and their two sons, Vincent and Jack. Dr. Gina Elrod has a passion for helping her patients and educating them on the importance of oral health in relation to their overall health. She believes every patient should have a positive dental experience and helps them feel comfortable with her gentle and caring nature.

Dr. Gina Elrod is very excited to be practicing in Arizona at Paradise Valley Family Dental. She is highly trained in Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign and Laser Dentistry. She also enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) , Central Arizona Dental Society and various study clubs.

Outside the office, Dr. Gina Elrod loves spending time with her husband, Ryan, their two sons, and their 2 Morkies, Ellie and Bear. She enjoys watching her sons play sports, traveling and enjoying the beauty and active lifestyle that Arizona has to offer.

Friendly and compassionate, Dr. Nguyen always knew she wanted to be in healthcare because she enjoys taking care of others and getting to work with her hands. She also loves being a dentist because she enjoys meeting new patients and connecting with them on a personal level while creating happy smiles.

Born and raised in the beach town of Ventura, California, she studied classical piano for 13 years before graduating from UCLA. Then Dr. Nguyen moved to Arizona to earn her master’s and dental degrees from Midwestern University. She loves exploring Phoenix both through her mouth, by discovering new restaurants across the valley, and also her eyes, by hiking the desert and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. She also enjoys nerding out by collecting Pokemon cards.

If Dr. Nguyen could max out a credit card, she would spend it all on making memories while traveling. She wants to see the world, including Antarctica, and try all the different cuisines. Someday she hopes to eat in a Michelin starred restaurant, visit Vietnam to learn more about her heritage and roots, and buy her own dental office.

Dr. Donald Provenzale, Jr. graduated Loyola University School of Dentistry, Maywood, IL in 1988 at the top of his class, and subsequently entered residency training in Anesthesiology at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago, IL. At the time, he was given the opportunity to pursue an M.D. degree and continue training toward becoming a board-certified Anesthesiologist. Due to his love for Dentistry, however, he declined the offer.

He then enrolled in the Medical College of Georgia dental implant training program, ultimately leading to being awarded the highest distinction within the discipline of Implant Dentistry—— Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry. He is recognized as a leader in the field of Oral Implantology and has lectured extensively on the subject. He currently serves as the President of the Central District of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and as a faculty member of the AAID’s Chicago dental implant training program.

Dr. Provenzale strongly believes that treating patients with compassion and honesty, combined with the highest level of competence is the only way to practice Dentistry. Building a foundation of trust by treating his patients as special individuals is the very essence of his practice.

Dr. Emmanuel Klein received his training at UCLA and Loma Linda University in California. He has over 30 years of experience in dentistry and prides himself on his friendly personality, compassion for patients, and excellent clinical skills. He enjoys spending time with friends and family enjoying all the great hiking, music, and culture available in the Phoenix area.

Susana fell into her love of the dental world by accident. When she was hired as a receptionist right out of high school it was for a dental office in 1992. And, the rest they say, is history! She loves to help patients better understand their oral and overall health.

Born in Chihuahua Mexico, Susana grew up in Phoenix AZ. The thing she most loves about her job is her ability to help educate patients about dentistry. Her mission every day is for each and every patient to leave the office happy and smiling.

In her free time, Susana loves to watch movies with her husband and five girls ages 28, 16, 15, 9 and 8. If she could max out a credit card it would be at Costco, and if she could travel anywhere in the world she would go to Paris.

Carolyn currently lives with her mom and has a brother living in New York. She doesn’t have any pets, but loves horses and dogs. If she were going to max out a credit card it would be at Crate & Barrel.

Carolyn can play the piano. Three things she has left on her bucket list include: climbing the Eiffel Tower, completing her Christian Counseling Degree, and swimming in Maya Bay, Thailand. If she could vacation anywhere in the world it would be Santorini Greece.

Danny has always loved going to the dentist. Even as a kid Danny loved to get his teeth cleaned. Danny loves helping patients learn why its important to know how to properly care for their mouth. And loves showing up to work everyday to meet new people and help them with their oral health.

Danny was born and raised in Phoenix and now lives in Mesa, and graduated from the University of Southern Indiana. In his free time, he loves to hike with his wife, go dirt biking, hang out with friends and family, and watch movies. He has two dogs and a cat, and can play guitar. The nerdiest thing he does is play boardgames and his strange talent is the ability to do magic tricks.

If he could max out a credit card it would be at Guitar Center and Cycle-gear. His bucket list includes going to Australia, going on a cruise, and going on his honeymoon to Greece.

Sami always wanted a career that would allow her to help people on a daily basis. She loves educating patients on how to take the best care of their oral health. Was born in Evansville, IN and was raised in Rockport IN, and graduated from the University of Southern Indiana.

She loves to come to work everyday and see her smiling patients and wonderful coworkers. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, traveling, reading, and hiking. She has two dogs and a cat and if she could max out a credit card it would be at Target. Her bucket list items include: seeing a Broadway play, seeing the Northern Lights, and going on a cross-country toad trip. If she could travel anywhere in the world it would be to Greece.

Dorina became a dental assistant because she loves working with and helping people. She loves detailed work and precision. On a daily basis she helps patients understand their procedures and helps make sure they are comfortable. Born in Romania, she emigrated to the US in 1993. She lived in the Bay Area before moving to Mesa AZ.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, making floral arrangements, meeting up with friends, reading and spending time with her family. Her family consists of her husband, daughter and step-son. If she were to max out a credit card (which she does not like to do) it would be at Nordstrom. She is currently working on composing a cook book and would love to someday visit the pyramids and go on a cruise to Alaska. If she could travel anywhere in the world it would be to Dubai.

Dorina loves helping people feel comfortable and have a good experience at the dental office. After 27 years as a dental assistant, she still loves her job!

Meet Ashley, our dental assistant. Her vibrant passion for dentistry was sparked by her positive childhood experiences at the dentist. She graduated from Phoenix Dental Assistant School, where she honed her skills to make dental care comfortable and understandable for patients. Ashley’s dedication to her role is evident in her eagerness to help patients and her team, and she is always motivated to learn and grow within her field.

Outside the office, she cherishes time with her friends, family, and beloved dogs, Athena and Rambo. Ashley is an adventurer at heart, finding joy in exploring Sedona’s natural beauty and dreaming big with her bucket list goals of traveling Europe and the US and visiting tropical paradises like the Maldives.

Her ultimate ambition is to further her career in dentistry by becoming a dental hygienist, continuing her passion for improving patients’ dental health.
